Camping and White Water Rafting in May

Camping and Rafting the North Fork of the American River. Camping the night before rafting was wet and cold. We were kept up all night by the rain. Packed up the tent in the rain. Met up with the rafting company with rain and about 45 degree temperatures.
The North Forks water flow is controlled strictly by snow melt off. 12 people backed out of the trip because of the temperature but the Die Hards remained. There was about 2"s of snow and about 35 degrees at the put in point of the river. While rafting we experienced snow, rain, hail, thunder storms, and fridged temperatures. It was kinda epic class 4 to 5 rapids. Goods Times. Good Friends.

2cd year anniversary

we went to puerto vallarta and sayulita mexico for our anniversary. it was nice to get out of cold windy SF for a few days.
