Hellride 2011
The bruised livers hit the road for 3 days.
Day 1:
rode to and skated Ripon, ca park, rode through Yosemite with warnings from Yogi the bear park ranger, made it to Mammoth park to skate, had some good Mexican food with plenty of margaritas, camped off a dirt rode where Ranger Rowdy enforced the biker rules. the RR sort of like the SS. Hahaha...
Day 2:
Rode to lake Mono to get our nature on them down dirt roads for miles to the ghost town of Bodie, where we were hassled by Yogi the bear again.
Then we were off to Trukee, there were some nice new paved twisty roads. Skated Truckee. Then checked out the old train tracks and tunnels on Donner pass. Again dirt and rocky roads but a perfect place to crash. (literally the kid crashed 4 times) but it is ok he has his surfing patch.
Day 3:
Rode to Placerville, stopped on the way and jumped in the American river then skated Placerville. Really nice park. From there we went to Ione for some famous pickled eggs and a fun park. Then raced back home.

North fork Yuba River
Class 5 rapid July 8th 2011. very heavy snow melt off.
This was actually our second run at Maytag. The first run we aced like pro's. The second run we were a little cocky and lost it as scene. I have a video of the first run but it is a little boring cause everything went so perfect. This is a class 5 insane rapid and we all felt it. I was under water for allot of the craziness, every time surfacing gasping for air then struggling to swim to shore in fridged waters.
Good Friends Great Times!!!!!!

Camping and White Water Rafting in May
The North Forks water flow is controlled strictly by snow melt off. 12 people backed out of the trip because of the temperature but the Die Hards remained. There was about 2"s of snow and about 35 degrees at the put in point of the river. While rafting we experienced snow, rain, hail, thunder storms, and fridged temperatures. It was kinda epic class 4 to 5 rapids. Goods Times. Good Friends.
